I have been admiring this gucci hobo bags for quite some time so I went ahead and took the plunge to buy it. The black leather is very soft and pliable - yet durable. I'm petite and the bag is indeed large but it does not look overwhelming because it "slouches" well.

I tried the gucci soho bags and it just does not sit very well on the shoulder and under the arm. The large allows for more of a drop so that the bag molds better to the body. The Tan color is very versatile and the style can take me from work to afternoon "mom taxi service" to the weekend.

I have 2 children so it also works well when I have to carry some of their items. The single strap stays on the shoulder well and does not easily fall off, which is great when both hands are full. Really the only regret I have is to drop this sort of money on a purse. I'm not saying it is not worth it.

It is definately worth it given the style, quality of workmanship, and how easy it is to carry without always adjusting to the shoulder. It is just the most I've ever spent on a purse. So, I think I'm in trouble now that I've had a glimpse of what it is like to have such a luxe bag!
